Shirley Drazba

Shirley grew up in Arlington Heights and studied electrical engineering at the University of Illinois and upon graduation, married her better half, Marty. They presently reside in Long Grove and have two grown children, Daniel (wife, Cathy) and Karen. Shirley has retired from working at IDEX Inc. (IEX) as Corporate Vice President of Strategy and Innovation. She now serves on the Board of Ducommun Inc. (DCO) as Lead Director.

At The Orchard Vernon Hills, Marty and Shirley were founding members. They lead two LIFE Groups. Shirley has served as a Deacon and leads the Women’s Ministry. What a joy it is to see all that God is doing through the privilege of serving!

Shirley came to faith by God’s amazing grace as a teenager. She sincerely desires that all believers to be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks for a reason for the hope that is within them, done with gentleness and respect.
