The Orchard Pastoral Residency
The goal of The Orchard Pastoral Residency is to raise up pastors with a lifelong commitment to godliness, a robust biblical doctrine, and a competence in a wide range of ministry skills.
What is the Pastoral Residency?
Over the course of three years, residents will complete their Master of Divinity (MDiv) from TEDS while learning from and serving alongside The Orchard’s pastors.
This blend of rigorous theological education and mentored ministry experience is the best way to prepare for a lifetime of faithful ministry.
Education
Residents will take classes online, as well as in person at our Barrington Campus, benefiting from courses taught by TEDS faculty and our pastoral team.
Ministry Experience
Our pastors will help residents as they take what they are learning and apply it in the areas of preaching, pastoral care, and leadership.
This program brings the seminary and the church together in a shared effort to train pastors for the glory of Christ and the good of his people.
