Dawn Dobner

Dawn earned her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Elmhurst College and her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Illinois University. She married her best friend, Mark, in 1997. After over a decade of teaching high school math, Dawn stepped away from the classroom to be mom to her two boys. She enjoys reading, exploring state and national parks, and cooking with her husband.

The Dobners started attending The Orchard in 2008 and joined the launch group that started the Barrington congregation. Throughout the years, the members of the Dobner family have been blessed serving in a variety of ways including VBS, Easter Eggstravaganza, Summer B.L.A.S.T., Worship Team, Orchard Kids, Summer Service Day Camp, Café Mom, Entrusted With A Child’s Heart, Women’s Events and currently, Dawn is co-leading Awana Sparks. They have had the privilege and joy of participating in and leading Life Groups.

Dawn loves to use her administrative talents to serve the families of The Orchard.
