Shamika Effiong

Shamika brings experience working with children from early childhood through elementary school, with a background in classroom leadership, curriculum support, early childhood education, and substitute teaching. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in English and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about creating meaningful environments where children can learn, grow, feel a sense of belonging, and discover who God created them to be.

Shamika is married and a proud mom who enjoys spending time with her family, serving others, writing, and growing deeper in her relationship with the Lord. A passionate writer and speaker, she hopes to become a published author of both children's and faith-based books, using her gifts to encourage, inspire, and help others grow in their faith.
