Sue Levon

Sue first heard the Gospel in college and believed that Jesus loved her, died to pay the penalty for her sins, and rose to give her new life in Him. He became her Savior and Lord by grace alone - through faith alone.

Sue married Mike in 1978 and they moved to Arlington Heights in 1981. The couple visited The Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church and never left once they heard the Word solidly preached. They became members in 1982, raised their children, and have been involved in many ways as the church has grown. Most of their 40 years at The Orchard have been spent in LIFE Groups.

Sue began serving as a Bible Study group leader and in the nursery, moving up with her children through Sunday School and Awana until she fell in love with teaching 5th and 6th graders, where she taught for many years. Sue has served with Women’s Ministries, The Orchard Network, and on the Nominating Committee. She has led Precept Bible Studies for 19 years. "Serving isn’t always easy, but there is great joy in serving for Jesus, with His people. He always gives what we need, in order to do what He calls us to!".
